bresser mc 127 owners

hi all I have just pick up a bresser my 127 and just wondering if this is right the end of the tube where the diagnol goes spins round ? is this right.  the bit shown in picture.  

any thoughts ? otherwise the scope is fine.

Doesn’t sound right, the eyepiece will end up hanging upside down if that is not fixed. Perhaps someone who has one can suggest if it can be tightened, not sure how these ones work.

No it shouldn’t rotate but it is an easy fix. 

Remove the focuser knob and then the rear cover. These are the three screws visible set into the cover not the ones under the rubber covers.

You can tighten the retaining ring on the inside.

BTW this is what the back of the OTA looks like without the cover.
