First night out with the Sentinal

Wow!!!

Boy this scope is good!... very hard to detect fringing on most objects. Used the VR-1 on Saturn & Moon. Satun was fantastic with regard to higher mags with the VR-1 in place, the moon not so!. I much prefered the filter less view (less yellow). I will write up a full report in a weeks time!! (as I'm away for a week!!)

Glad you like the scope Rob, I agree with you about the filter - I find the yellow more annoying than a bit of CA.

It worked well on Saturn - no problem. The moon was really crisp in the non filtered state. blumming hell this course I'm on is real slow (hence why I can jump in to the forum)

£1500 course... learnt nothing new yet!!!. Drunk loads of Coffee though :shock:
