Noctilucent Clouds Pano and Mosaic- 23 June 2021

There was a stunning display of NLCs last night - stretching right overhead at one point.  Here's a couple of panos - one with a 16mm lens and the other showing more detail at 135mm.  The best display I've ever seen that didn't also include a comet!!

This year I've yet to witness one NLC display. ☹️

Last year was great, but mostly at dawn and a 9-5 job now has put those adventures to rest. 🙄

At least there are great photographers on here to provide lovely pics. 👍

It’s challenging at this time of year, that’s for sure. I’ve got used to managing the intense tiredness of multiple nights out NLC hunting. I usually hold it together at work the following day but I find I get ratty the following evening! But it’s worth it for some of my most memorable moments under the stars. 
 

But we could really do with some clearer nights at the moment!
