New sunspot plus nice activity in Ha

There is a new sunspot  AR2833 and nearby there is a Prom that appears to have lifted off - two bright areas off the surface.

In addition on the opposite side there is a nice detailed Prom. A few filaments as well.

Caught this one last night but it’s better today, white light only for me today, too much else on to get the PST mod out. Lovely day though!

That was the Starbase 80 and Lunt wedge. 14mm and 6mm Starbase orthos too, I’m finding these eyepieces are pretty decent!

I just had a look at this sunspot with a WL filter. The spot has rotated a bit further into the disk with a rather large plage region around it. Surprisingly the seeing was excellent in some moments I could see the surface granulation in my 127mak with a binoviewer.
