This is my first light with my new SharpStar 94EDPH scope.  Unbelieveably it was clear on the night of receiving a new piece of astro kit :D

Camera: 290MM, 1000 frames with 50% stacked

Scope: SS94, prime focus 517mm F5.5, stacked in AS!3 and processed in Registax and PS.

Thanks for looking

Adam.

How are you finding this scope? I was considering upgrading from an 80 ed and was looking for a triplet that was nearer 4" and not too heavy for an HEQ5. Just stumbled across this scope and it seems to tick a lot of boxes.

Hi there, I will post a few images that I've taken with it over the next couple of days - M45 and IC434.  I bought the 0.8x reducer for it and I'm currently trying it out with a full frame nikon, but it doesnt look great.  It may be spacing or something else, but the stars in each corner are showing some sort of distortion.
