clear sky hooray

Hi just went outside to see what the weather was like and behold clear sky with a little haze but improving.

The ploughGemini, Orion ,and Taurus and the Pleiads  were really prominent.

Suddenly a Geminid meteor zoomed across my view so I waited and watched for a while and then saw two more.

Earlier in the evening the sky was cloudy so I put my Meade etx away   I would have liked to have viewed Orion but it would have created a din to get my equipment out another time perhaps
