Just managed to catch the conjunction before the clouds came in. Had to stand on a garden table to get a good view over the wall. All 3 just about squeezed into the field-of-view, 5.5 deg.

Dragged the kids out to see it, telling them it'll be years before they'll see it again. Standing on the table appeared to make it more exciting!

caught a view earlier while having a smoke, mk1 eyeballs only tho as they were already behind the oak tree and getting close to dipping below the treetops and cloud rolling in. Mars was above the rooftops behind me too

It's a nice view indeed! I got a view around 6pm in the gap of the clouds. Wish I could take a picture but there was no time, clouds rolled in again.

It was  a great view. Naked eye or  observing with a small pair of bins can be as good a sight as anything. Conjunctions such as this or the Milky Way from a very dark site spring to mind.
