That a nice atmospheric image there Grant! Not sure if I've ever seen the "Belt of Venus" , would quite like to...

Wonder why it called that!

It's called that because Venus rarely ventures above it. It's actually the shadow of the Earth against the sky. Just watch the east at sunset and you'll see it.
