Not directly as the screw is fitted to the flat end of the female dovetail close to the ota wall so no room really- would need a new hole drilling and tapping to put a screw in the side of the mounting. Being that the TAL-2 isn’t really portable i guess they only made it detachable for fitting in the transport crate rather than something you’d take on and off regularly.

ah ok, makes sense I guess. The TAL-1 finder is screwed to the OTA likely same reasons.

Wonder what happened re the original purpose of this thread, did it get bought? Pretty sure I came across the ad for this the other day tho can't find it again now of course.
