Dual Evostar 72ED?

Soo, I have 2 550D cameras so I'm wondering..  can I set up two Evostar 72ED on the same mount to gather more data?  

If so, how would you do stacking ?  Just input all the bias, darks, flats and subs into the same stack? 

Also. My wallet is crying because I'm even asking this question..🤣

Nope, stack everything separately. Separate dark, bias and flats needed for each camera/scope.

Yes you could using APT to control cameras  , stack files separately  ie lights flats etc ,from each camera ,If using siril to stack you can stack the output images together .

siril gives you a stacked fit image from each session  you just align and  combine together .

Hi

Pre process the frames from each telescope using flat and bias master frames taken using each camera.

Place both series of pre processed frames into the same folder. In Siril, the use the 'convert' tab, to take care of the renaming 

Register all the pre-processed frames.

Stack the now registered frames with your favourite algorithm.

After looking into some guides on setup and processing I'm confident that it's too early in my imaging days to even consider a dual setup 😅
