It is huge, and I think I can make out the ion tail in the 100 mm shot. Let's see what post-processing reveals

yes I thought I saw it in your photo too. I'm currently shooting it through my Evostar 72ED and as it got darker I had to adjust the comet's nucleus to the far left side of the frame with the tail filling the rest. I'm excited to see what I get out of it! Would really want to capture the ion trail;)

EDIT: Battery just died. I think I have about 15min worth of proper 5 sec exposure being transferred to my computer right now and everything looks promising. Perhaps a timelapse showing the apparent motion of it is incoming
