My first Galilean moon transit with shadow.

Took the dogs out at 4am to see the sky was clear and the Moon looking incredible!

I'm not sure if anyone else suffers like I do, but even with me planning on turning my scope to the Moon, I couldnt resist aiming it at Jupiter first.

Much to my surprise, when I put my eye to the eyepiece, there is the GRS, a moon and its shadow.

My app showed it was Callisto. 

My image isn't in the same league as the ones here, but most of the fish I've caught haven't been trophies either. I still had fun catching them.😁
