Dunno... probably. I think that's what attracted me to it! "When I were a lad", I started to make
a six inch "skelton tube" Newt -- My Dad made me some 9-ply "hexagons" - It had 3/4" wood
dowel struts. Skills... cost... school/uni etc. Somehow it never quite reached completion. 🙄🤣

But, at the time (late 60's early 70's), buying / making a *tube* seemed a significant obstacle?
Who knows... I might have started REAL Astronomy 30-40 years earlier? There's a thought! 🥳
