Miguel1983
Hi, this image was taken over a period from the end of May and last week, total integration time is 16.7hrs (5h50m Ha & 10h50m Oiii) EQ6R, Esprit 120 and ASI1600mm pro Version 1 Version 2 with a little less strong background
x6gas
Some good data there. I have to say that the Crescent is one of those targets that almost always looks over-processed to me and I do find this a bit harsh personally but you've got good definition and good detail so... as long as you're happy with the scheme it's a job well done. MarkAR
Great effort. 1 hour ago, x6gas said: I have to say that the Crescent is one of those targets that almost always looks over-processed to me Yup, it's a garish beast in any colour combination. You really have to pull back the saturation to make it look "normal".
Miguel1983
A first proces is almost never the best. This is a reprocess using the SHO AIP script in PixInsight, i doubt it will be the last...
MarkAR
Much easier on the eye, more natural looking.

Spongey
The second version is probably my personal favourite! How do you find the Esprit 120 on the EQ6-R? You must almost be at the limit of the mounts capability

You must almost be at the limit of the mounts capability Hi, To me it is a perfect match, the mount has no trouble with the Esprit 120 and my guiding total RMS is typical around 0,5"/pix. The total weight of the telescope and everything attached to it is about 13,5 KG so i'm no where near the limit of 20kg for AP as stated in the manual (but we all know that would probably be pushing it)
ultranova
Very nice indeed, I like version 2, but I dare say you will be doing several versions until you settle on one that you like the most, Great data, and nicely processed well done.
