Starting out webcam imaging - 3 images

Seems a shame to just use the webcam as a guider. so I've decided to give lunar imaging a crack, and started out last night with a colour ToUCam on an 8" Newtonian. I used the 2x Barlow for a couple of image, and the drizzle feature in Registax for the straight wall image.

I recorded about 900 frames for each one and the best 20-40 were selected by Registax 4. I fiddled with the wavelet sliders for a while.

What do you think? Any suggestions?

Thanks

Adam

These images do show how wonderful the webcam is for imaging.

I have just noticed the length of the shadow cast by the wall of the crater Birt, immediately above the straight wall.

Extraordinary.
