I was lucky to have some clear sky at the right time in the right part of the sky this evening.  Lovely with Venus hanging above the Moon.  Seeing wasn't great, with the Moon down to 15 degrees altitude when I took the single frame below at 9.14 pm.  It was taken using the SW 80ED, Olympus E-M5 Mk11, 1/5 sec at 250 asa.

Many thanks Stu.  It did look lovely didn't it.  I rather like colour pics when the Moon is low in the sky, it often has a nice warm colour to it, compared with the rather starker colour when it's higher in the sky.

Nice images Paul.

I looked out last night and saw the same fine sight, Venus hanging above The Moon, Eathshine lit and wonderful as ever.

And what a sight to behold for just a short while, two of my favourite targets.

This was with Mk1’s and then Binoculars as I was having a back resting non scope evening.

It looks identical in your 120ED as it did through my grandsons 60mm Astral last night. Very pretty Paul! ☺

You obviously just looked  at my pics and didn't actually  read my post Mike 😀.

Oh! Reading is so overrated. You're right of course, I was engrossed in that wonderful picture. And although the 60mm Astral gave a nice view, there was CA. I'd hate you to rush out and sell your 80ED and replace it with a 60mm frac.
