Sculptor Galaxy so far...

The Sculptor doesn't put his head above the parapet for long so I got half an hour of binned colour per channel and 25 mins lum in the Meade 127. I will have to come back next new new moon for more because this is what you CALL an object. Don't miss it if can get to it. Very impressive visually, too. We could pick it up in 10x50s and in the Dob it looked fine. I haven't bust a gut on this preview, hence some gradient (I guess because even here we hae a bit of low lying LP.) But what a cracking galaxy. I will try to do it justice with proper Lum data ASAP.

Very nice Olly, ngc253 is s2534, and that is fairly low down.

This is a superb capture of it. My Burnhams shows a Mount Wilson 100 inch shot of this, but

it's not nearly as good as yours.
