Thermal Wrap a Mak

Recommended Posts

Hello, i was peeking around on SGL looking for previous posts where thermal wrap for a mak was discussed, in order to remedy currents as they take a while to cool.

It would be great to hear from those who have done it, i was unable to find previous posts, some suggestions and, opinions on the effectiveness of thermal wrapping

them would be great.

Thank You!

Some time back I read a piece by someone who had fitted temperature sensors to his OTA, then insulated it and compared the two sets of results.  Unfortunately I have no idea where I read it now :(
