Very unusual appearance, But these areas are really not often imaged, Ive never done it before, but glad i did, theres a wealth of detail there.

Taken last night so nearly full, but not quite, enough to show the edge of the moon in slight shadow and hence detail. it was freezing last night, my scope was completely iced over, so was i.

Full size is monumental detail especially at the bottom as convolutions are minute and everywhere. Great scale. :salute:

That full size image is stunning. A great image at a very favourable libration. It would be great if you could post a second copy with all the major terminator features labelled.
