Fun with the star adventurer

Apart from the perennial cloud arrival after setting up on most evenings I have, over the last two nights!

1 - set the intervalometers for a 5 hour delay before starting instead of 5 seconds.

2 - forgotten to switch off the high iso and long exposure noise reduction.

3 - left the camera on auto focus.

4 - not focused the camera.

Tonight I've just gone out after an hour of sub taking to realise I'd not even switched the star adventurer on. Still, I'll have some nice trails. Just started another series. It certainly focuses the mind to do better next time. Can't think of any more silly mistakes to make at the moment but I'm sure they're out there.

Glad I'm not the only one to suffer mishaps when imaging. Binned all my subs from last night of the Witch Head Nebula tonight. The previous night I used a full frame camera but didn't get the result I wanted, Used a modified crop sensor camera last night, positioned Rigel in roughly the same place on the screen and cut half her chin out of the frame. One of many mistakes, best way to learn...………………………………………………………….so they say.
