Polar aligning

Hi.. After you polar align your mount and move your scope to a target... wouldnt that mess you polar alignment up.. I just find it confusing

No Anthony your polar aligning the mount not the Telescope

So basically i just point the mount to polaris

You polar align your mount with the North celestial pole using the alt-az screws on your EQ mount.

This puts your telescope in the correct position the accurately track the stars at your particular location (i.e. latitude).

your is the teck way for those that like that way and good for imagingers

mine is for the brand new people and none teck way

hopfully between the 2 vids people will get good info and this helps them out
