JSeaman
I've had So many issues this evening I've had to walk away from it. Over the past few years I have gone through 3 QHY5L-IIC guide cameras. The failure mode this time is that the LED dimly lights and it won't connect to PHD2. I had all sorts of issues with this initially with drivers only working on certain ports etc. but it has been stable for about a year until now. I'm ready for a change and was looking at the ASI 120mm mini (https://www.firstlightoptics.com/guide-cameras/zwo-asi-120mm-mini-usb-20-mono-camera.html#specifications) but read lots of mixed reviews. So, I'm after first hand experience if anyone has it or alternatives if you can Thanks James
henry b
I have had the same problems, now I am using ASI120mm mini in all my rigs with no guiding problems running Phd2/ other. I believe you will be ok with that choice. Henry b.

Calzune
I have it and I have only tried it once because of the weather... It works great with phd2 and it does what a guidecam supposed to do ZWO has 10% on their cameras right now.
almcl
I switched to an ASI 120 mini mono when the USB port on my QHY 5Lii became intermittent and finally failed altogether. The ASI works fine, just as sensitive as the QHY and, touch wood, the connector although smaller seems a lot more robust. I am using it with an OAG and it never fails to find a selection of stars to guide with. `

But mine is a mono and I know people have more issues with the OSC version for some unknown reason. Edited November 18, 2019 by Adam J
dannybgoode
I’m using this and am very happy with it. Coupled with the matching 60mm guidescope it works very well with my SW AZ EQ6GT https://www.rothervalleyoptics.co.uk/altair-astro-gpcam-v2-mono-ar0130-mono-guide-imaging-camera.html
