Pickering's Triangle in Ha

There's a few issues I need to resolve with my imaging system before I'm able to capture better subs, but i'm happy with this image.

11 hours of Ha (12nm) in 5 min subs. Stacked in DSS and tinkered with in Photoshop.

Equipment: Altair Starwave 102ED, 0.6x RF, 12nm Ha filter, Atik 428ex mono.

That's a lovely close up of this difficult target, saw it a few time with the 18 inch on very clear nights, with Olll filter. great capture!!

The whole region of the Veil Nebula is one of my favourite targets and I have yet to image this part. Your presentation is lovely image and a fantastic commitment at 11 hours.

Lovely mono image, it has real depth to it. Hopefully you’ll get your issues ironed out.
