Astroberry on Raspberry Pi 4?

Hi,

tried to search but no topics, so... Planning equipment for winter DSO imaging and the idea of freezing my trusty MacbookPro doesn’t look great. So planning to run Astroberry, but a little disturbed by the reports on perfomance issues most probably attributed to small memory size if Pi 3.

Does anyone so far tried to run it on Pi 4? In other words - is it really worth the difference, should I just stick to 3 B?

Any good advise is welcome. Thanks!

thanks, ordering RPi4 now. With a cooled case :D

If you plan on using WiFi then you might need a separate antenna as the range is significantly impacted by cooled cases.

Some useful info here.

thanks, my case is plastic so should be ok. On the other hand I still haven't decided - the distances I use might be possible via ethernet and be faster I presume.
