1st guided image only 2 5 minute subs then then clouds rolled in

well its m45, not a pretty as most on here but it was guided, its taken 3 weeks of kicking everything from my pc to my mount to work out my qhy5 plugin was clashing with the qhy5 driver... My thanks to Alan on that one he very kindly came over and sorted it for me.

Ive been waiting 3 days and then clear sky's, so i got set up and ending up with 2 subs before my white fluffy nemesis was back to haunt me

I know its only 2 subs but its a start

2x 5min subs 1x 5min dark

Any advice on processing or a point in the right direction is more than welcome

Excellent, Steve, the tracking looks very good indeed - autoguiding is great stuff when you get it working!

Hi Steve.

Im pretty sure that shows the sky to be darker than it actually is from your location but, on my laptop screen at least, the background sky looks very light. A simple levels process will help with that.

MartinB's primers in the other section are great, take 5mins to read, and will instantly help.

Gald you got the tracking sorted, that and the focus look spot on!

That is a great start Steve. Pleiades is always a lovely sight. As with the others, tracking is great, good focus, and all you needed was a bit more time.
