ASI120MM Issues

Hi everyone! 

I'm asking for a friend of mine who's been having problems with his guide camera connection to the pc. 

Apparently, the camera feed to the pc lags, therefore the guide pulses are delayed. This was very evident while creating the dark library for PHD2. 

The camera appeard to work perfectly fine with other capture softwares though,

If anyone got the same problem, and managed to solve it, i woukd be glad to hear your tips!

Is it the older type 120MM? They can have issues with Windows 10 and/or USB3 PC's. Mine worked great on a Win7 USB2 laptop but it wouldnt work correctly on a newer laptop so I had to upgrade.

Mine works fine on my Windows 10 laptop of considerable vintage - like 10 years old.

Do you have all the correct USB drivers loaded onto the laptop?  The correct ASCOM driver for PHD to see the camera?

Mine too works fine....try resetting PHD2 settings and try again , also choose the correct camera from the list.....check also the cable and blow some air to the connection plugs because sometimes they get dust inside....

Of late I've had severe problems with my ASI120MC - don't know if it was changes to Windows or Sharpacp, the solution was to reduce the 'turbo USB' setting from 2 to 4, it didn't slow the camera down but made it more stable.
