Double sided foam pads for Telrads etc

Anyone have any recommendations for these? Sticky enough but not too sticky so that they can be removed.

I need to fit a Telrad base to my 8" dob

I use servo tape intended for RC cars. Sticky but can be removed fairly easily. 

Something like this.

Sticky number plate strips from Halfords worked well enough on mine. 

Though I have to confess that I don't know how easily they can be removed as I haven't tried.

Cleaning the surfaces first with Isopropyl alcohol or something similar first is important and also should be left for 24 hours to reach full strength and done in a warm place ......... which won’t be a problem next week. 😁

BTW be carefull if buying 3M tape off eBay as most of it is fake.

I've never used it (yet) but there is "nano magic tape" available from Aliexpress. 😬

Used something very similar to nano magic. Not a lot of holding power. 🤬

'Gorilla' brand double sided tape works superbly - it can also be peeled off with a bit of determination.

Less squishy than foam tapes - might be important if you have the finder and scope accurately aligned?
