MarkR
Some more deep sky objects from the last clear nights. I am writing this on a foggy morning wondering when the next clear night will be (after the Venus occultation for sure). These were made with 100mm refractor and binoviewer which I am starting to enjoy using in preference to cyclops viewing.I really enjoy the view of M81 and M82, the contrast in brightness and shape in the two galaxies is quite amazing. Then look at the size of M31, it makes you realise how blumming big this galaxy is when it spills over the field of view. Finally open cluster M52 high overhead in Cas, sparkling away.Mark
