Cheap ways to keep a dobsonian outside all the time?

Managed to find a old storage box we had which is waterproof so have stored  the base inside with my eyepieces ect and also now have a  trolley for the scope which makes everything so much easier and also shortens the set up time.

I've seen a Heq5 with a very sturdy WO refractor on it topple over at a star party when the wind caught the tarp covering it. I'd go for a permanent pier if I was doing that.
