Spotting the sun!

I thought I would lead the way, setting the bar nice and low so as to encourage plenty of other entries with more chance ??

This was taken this evening with my 50mm Vixen Geopta spotting scope at x30 magnification. I just quickly found a suitable Baader Solar film adaptor that fitted the scope nicely having made a few different sizes a while back.

I had ten minutes after getting home from work and this was the only scope I could get out and in position in time. Picture taken with my Samsung S9 using Pro mode at f2.4, ISO 50 and 1/750th shutter speed.

A little crop and tweak in PS Express and here we go. That's about as minimal as solar imaging can get!
