Gina
Just been outside and watched the ISS pass overhead. Very bright - Clear Outside says mag 3.3 ? No all sky camera available tonight as I'm working on it but I did capture it a couple of days ago. These are contiguous 60s exposures. Tonight's pass would have been better. Prador
Just saw it pop across on the way back from my local Co-Op. Very bright and quite impressive. Hopefully, the (even brighter) transit tomorrow evening will be clear so I can point it out to the kids.
Stu
Nice shots Gina. Was that on 29th, last night? It looks very like a pass I viewed through my dob last night at x52. I tracked it right from down low up until just as it was fading towards the zenith and the good old dob hole made it too tricky to track. Saw some nice detail on it. Prador
Just wondering; can a NEQ-6 controlled via WiFi module and SkySafari track an ISS transit?

I've tried this with another mount an it seems that Skysafari doesn't continuously update the position to the mount ie if you select ISS and do a goto the mount will move to it but then just return to normal tracking rate. I think some other method is required, although some one may have a way of doing it with Skysafari.
Geoff Barnes
Cool shots Gina! I see Orion and Sirius low down near the horizon, if you exchange them with the ISS overhead that's how I see them down here.
