Hi everyone

Hey, proper blue stars. Do forgive the not-turned-down-the-saturation-enough attitude to the star colours. I was overwhelmed by the blue. Never thought I'd see the day.

Thanks for looking and just how over-saturated do you think the stars are?!

Not over saturated at all. Just right, for me, in colour saturation but the blues are rather cyan to my eye. I'd try to up the magentas in blue to cure that.

I do like open clusters that show up clearly against a background of stars. Excellent shot of one of my favourites.

Hi. I ran it by Siril's -rather nice- photometric module which uses the simbad database to correct the colours. This is what it reckons...

Might try with using masks next time as the increased saturation has given strong colour halos to the brighter stars rather then solid colour spread across the star.

That is lovely! I love diffraction spikes too... I miss them since I got shot of my reflector
