Hi.

NGC1579 is a Emission/Reflection Nebulae in Perseus.

I imaged this last night with my ED 80 and Atik 314L+.

I took 16 subs of 750 secs duration in Luminance.

I took a further 14 subs of 750 secs in H-Alpha.

Using a Atik 320E i took 14 subs of 750 secs each in RGB.

Calibrated with both Bias and Flats. No darks.

Cheers.

Mick.

Very nice Mick! And thanks for bringing it to my attention - something new to have a go at and a good reason to put the Samyang 135mm away for a while, dust off the ED80 and do a bit of Ha+LRGB.

My options are starting to close down at this time of year what with trees, houses and light polution; I might give this one a go. :)
