Heya,

Woke up to a clear sky, yet it was cloudy and rained all night. I'll take it! I figured I would miss out on AR2733 as it rounds the limb. I really like limb spots in general, some of my favorite angles to look at the regions around the spot. AR2733 is pretty active and is the most interesting spot we've had in quite a while as we approach the peak of the minimum. There are some small filaments, a second undesignated region with some minor activity and some feint but large proms around the limb. Hoping to see AR2733 tomorrow as it begins to round the limb. there seems to be a wee filament in front it that may make an interesting prominence tomorrow or the day after as it begins to hit the limb.

Lovely sharp set, looks like good seeing is to be had in Florida, guess the Sun is a bit higher in the sky as well, it's lurking along the horizon here.

Hope you get some more images of the AR as it's not looking too good weather wise here.

I have no experience in solar (or night) imaging but the quality of your posts never fails to amaze me. I show them to my young boys and they're hooked to the monitor asking "is that actually the sun and can you do that with your telescope dad?". My reply is "unfortunately not - only if your mum lets me spend a lot of money" ?

First class images!
