Subtle Horsehead

Hi Everyone,

This is 6x600s + 6x1200s taken with an Atik428ex + Samyang 135mm.

I've exercised a bit of artisitic licence in Photoshop just to soften the appearance of the Ha image.

I also played around at removing the stars - not very well I'm afraid!

Thank you Carole. Not sure the subtle colouring of Ha works for every target but I thought it was worth an experiment with this one.

Thanks Adam - glad you like it. I'd gone out to pack things away having imaged IC1396 again with 20 min Ha subs when I spotted Orion coming up over the houses - at 2.30 a.m. - I just couldn't resist having a quick go.

At least I can have a sleep on a Sunday afternoon - or Monday - in fact any day!
