Was it the rain beforehand that helped clear the sky along with the cold front?

Algol, over the course of the night I think I managed about an hour and a half of shuteye, but clear nights like that are few and far between! I took well over a hundred subs in all, and from the whole night, only had to dispose of about 6. Result. the pics are turning out nicely too, although the Baader MPCC has left some wierd artifacts, I need to take a closer look at that setup, so I've just stripped and cleaned the mirrors etc in the astrograph thingy tonight.

Great night - could just about make out the Milky Way from light polluted South Beds. Tested out my focal reducer with different ep's and did a bit of a tour. Didn't have time to do any sketches as I had to get up for work :crybaby: !

BTW Wed 22nd wasn't bad either. Similar conditions for me as the night before. Used my Meg72 and did a sketch of M31, M32 and M110 in the same fov - love this little beauty of a scope. M110 was just about visible using averted vision. Might put the sketch up in the 'Imaging' section.
