whats happend to my guide scope sw st80

hi all just wondered if anyone has an idea whats happend to my st80 guide scope with a qhy5 camera i use for guiding ,i used to have pin sharp stars in phd2 ,but can no longer get them no matter where i focus thanks i get like a flare from the stars like the one top left ?

I get this with my SW ST102. I took the lenses out to clean them big mistake. I think mine need's culminating now. For deep sky stuff like Orion's Nebula and the Pleiades it is very good though.

can you colimate the st80 though?

In a fashion yes. There is a YouTube video by Dion showing how the focuser can be use to get things as accurate as possible.

It will always show CA on bright objects so are any of the stars OK or is it that they are all flared?

they are all flared i think its just that its effecting my guiding a little
