The Veil Nebula - first brief attempt in Ha and OIII

Hi Everyone,

With barely two hours of darkness and a 50%+ moon I was probably wasting my time, but I am keen to see what my Samyang 135mm + Atik 428mono can do.

This is 9x600s Ha + 9x600s OIII over two consecutive nights, preprocessed and combined in PI with a bit of localised enhancement in PS.

It might not win any prizes but I was pleased I could see something of the Veil (Eastern & Western) with so little imaging time.

Roll on the longer, darker nights so I can add more data before this part of the Milky Way disappears behind the house!

Always worth a punt with narrow band and it's come out ok.
