Fireball meteor ?

Recommended Posts

I was out for a Milky Way imaging session this morning but the clouds took over the sky but still clicked away a few images as the sun was coming up. I was shooting with the Astronomik CLS filter and captured what I think to be a fireball but even with the filter, I have never seen these objects appear like this one. Anyhow, I was just curious. Thanks for looking.

It could be anything..such as internal reflections ..but if it was a single frame of say even 10 secs it didn't move much..

On a different note, why are you using a cls light pollution filter at what looks like a dark sky location?

Thanks, I'm in a Class 5 or 6 on the Bortle scale. We are planning on a trip to the coast in early summer for a night of imaging and for darker skies.
