Heart now in colour

A couple of weeks ago I posted an Heart nebula image taken with a QHY8 using an Ha filter. On thurday night at Kelling I grabbed about 45 mins unfiltered whilst waiting for M31 to get up to a decent height. This has now been added give some star colour. I also had the WO flattener better spaced so although the stars are still stretched out at the corners they are better than they were.

Scope ED80 with WO 0.8 reducer/flattener Camera QHY8 Ha15x800 secs. Unfiltered 30x90secs

The difference is a bit subtle but just about worth the effort
