No calibration frames applied.

Entirely not processed using PixInsight.

The red gradient at the bottom is caused by my neighbour's roof top. The intruding tree is my poor framing.

I probably should have imaged this subject with an Ha filter to increase contrast, but my camera isn't modded. So that would be of little use.

I imaged this object during a rare occurence of clear skies™. The Clear Outside app predicts these conditions to last until 7 pm this evening, after which things will go back to normal again. But at least I got another astro image in.

Btw, I'm not at all frustrated by the sky conditions we're experiencing after 7 pm each day/night.

BTW The sky looks amazing, hope it stayed that way.

Unfortunately it stayed that way long enough for me to start hauling out the mount. Once I had that set up and roughly polar aligned, clouds moved in. Two hours later than predicted.

As a final insult came the snow, and then rain.

The plains in Spain, with no rain, look mighty tempting.

To me the tree and neighbour's roof add to the image, try cropping them out and you would have a far less interesting image.

Thanks. Did you notice that I used the rule of thirds when framing?
