Jupiter & Mars, 07-01-2018

Recommended Posts

The clouds were playing silly beggers this morning, I managed to get a couple of shots during breaks.  The zoom image was taken with a 300mm lens and shows the moons of Jupiter, along with the double star Alpha Librae.

Nice photo.. I got up to see it too it was 04:40am and had the Dob ready. Both Mars and Jupiter visible in the Ethos mag 100X.. Jupiter was sizeable with 3 of its moons around and mars was a orange dot... not much detail, but still a worth it.
