Orion and Running Man

Hi this is my take on the Orion Nebula.

Taken over 2 nights (15/27 of December) i managed to get about 7 hrs of data however i only stacked 4 hrs as i had intermittent cloud poor transparency and some slightly out of focus data.

48 300 second subs with gain set to 0

I gathered 10 minutes in 20 second subs for the trapezium which i used as a layer underneath in PS and then used the eraser at about 20% opacity. I used the same technique to reduce some of the brightest bloated stars.

I used my Star 71 and Zwo Asi 071 osc camera. Mounted on an Az Eq6. Due to my light polluted housing estate i shot this through a 2" Hutech Idas Lps P2 filter.

Stacked in Dss using kappa sigma clipping and processed in PS with a little work done in PI.
