Lovely views of the full moon tonight. Had some visual around the limb then captured some data with the Mak. Full disk is 120 of 240 RAW frames. Close ups are 600 of 2000 video frames.

Best seen at full resolution (but you'll need some bandwidth :))

Close up - who said there's no detail to be had with the full moon

Thanks Fozzie

Can't quite recall seeing the far wall of beeper quite as pronounced..

Definitely worth a further peek whatever the libration - it's not favouring the North polar regions tonight - that's more to do with the camera being more sensitive than the eye I think. What's Beeper though? :)

Libration according to LTVT (white line)

Beeper.. hahaha just my phone playing tricks to make me look a bit thick,

At least you needed a phone to look a bit thick, I did it without assistance.

Anyhoo I've just realised you probably meant Neper, and no it wasn't particularly favourable last night.

Here's Neper from another close up I processed yesterday but didn't share before:

and here's the same area at 8pm  as the Moon transits on 22nd May next year. Really favourable with Jansky and all it's craterlets visible behind Neper.  Just past first quarter at 49 degrees altitude so well worth a look too - it's in my diary! :)
