NGC 891 & Abell 347

My longest integration image to date, 4.5 hrs of data over 2 nights. Luminance subs affected a bit by poor sky transparency and this has come through in the final version. Calibrated and stacked in APP (I love it!) then processed in Startools and a little in PS.

L 15 x 300 s

R 14 x 300 s

G 13 x 300 s

B 12 x 300 s

Thanks for the comment. I am a big fan of 'deepfield' images, and want to do more of them, UK skies permitting.

I literally didn’t know NGC281 was beside Abell 347. This is definitely on my todo list.  Great photo showing lots of detail.

Thanks, with the current FOV with my set up and being a galaxy enthusiast, I'll be looking for more subjects like this.

Unfortunately Stephan's Quintet is now on the wrong side of the house from my backyard, must get out to a dark open site!

 A very nice image the colour looks spot on especially on ngc891.
