alan4908 Posted November 21, 2017 Share Posted November 21, 2017 IC63 is illuminated very strongly by the very bright star Gamm Cass (the middle star in the W shape). The effect of the illumination can be seen in the glowing Ha region in the image below. Gamma Cass is just off the image towards the top. The LRGB image, with an Ha blend into the L and Red channels, was taken with my Esprit 150 and represents about 14.5 hours integration time. Alan LIGHTS: L:11,R:14,G:10,B:13 x 600s. Ha:13 x 1800s, BIAS:100, DARKS:30, FLATS:40 all at -20C. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
