M33 given a tweak.

My original M33 wasn't heavy on Ha so we thought we'd add a bit more this week. We shot 7 hours extra. In truth it didn't make a vast difference but it's allowed me to emphasize those nice little ring features lower right in the disk and to warm up the core colour a tad.

Very nice, those rings (superbubbles I guess?) are really standing out.

Great image. Besides the obvious Ha clouds, there seems also a lot of smaller red (Ha?) specks in the dust. I've never noticed that before.

The term 'superbubble' was new to me and made an interesting Google! Thanks for that.

Good stuff (as ever Olly!) The forecast is even promising her this weekend & I'm hoping to tup up my never ending data collection on M33, it's my favourite object to image

Thank you Knight of Clear Skies for the link - fascinating.

The additional Ha has added an another dimension and enhanced the relief and spiral structure.  M33 is a difficult galaxy to image and often is quite 'flat'.

Another accomplished image Olly and sympathetic to the astrophysics too!
