Anyone know where you can get a RJ45 to USB FTDI cable (the control cables for HEQ5/NEQ6) other than 1.8m. Ideally I only need 1m, but everywhere seems to be 1.8m.

Why do you want 1m instead of 1.8m?

Buy 1.8m and folded it a bit and use a clip to keep it at abut 1m, this is a better way, so you can use that 1.8m in the future when needed.

This is one i found quickly for 1m, not sure if the cable is any good or if you can order it from there, this site is the first site i used in my life to order from in 2006, but it depends on your location and shipping policy and taxes and customs.

how about buying a lynx astro one and cutting down and resoldering or contact FLO and see if they can get you a custom length done.
