WL AR2665 processed with Autostakkert to compare

Hi ...

Just to compare different methodology, for the very first time, I have just stacked one of my video sequences using Autostakkert , instead of using Registax6. The stacked image was then put through Registax6 and enhanced using its wavelet process.

I think that I am have got a better end result.

Always good to experiment Mike and always good to have more than program to do stuff as often one will work when another wont.

Have you tried imPPG as an alternative to register wavelets? it has a lot of fans and Filip (greatattractor) is a member on SGL.

I will have a look at imPPG .... thanks for telling me about it.

Nice detail shot. I also prefer AS!2 or 3 to Registax. For lunar and solar imaging I sharpen with ImPPG rather than using wavelets. For planets, I stack with AS!3, and sharpen with Registax
