Rain protection?

I thought about setting up last night as it was the clearest skies I had seen in ages - however it was still light.

As it got darker it poured down with rain, so my question is what do people do when this happens, i.e. you are set up, its too much stuff to rush inside with and it starts raining.

What covers do you use/recommend etc.

Get one of those light weight Gazebo thingy's. Put it up whilst your setting up, and drag it out of the way when ready to go. If it threatens rain., just drag it over the scope again. I don't think they are very expensive. You see em a lot at star parties.

I like the look of the Green-Witch cover, I've successfully used a cover that's designed to protect a stack of garden chairs !! for about a fiver from Lidl ages ago. Did a marvelous job at Kielder (3x days of wet/misty weather) !!
